Chief Ryan's Brutal
Beer and Metal

Have you ever imagined what a perfect soundtrack for a beautiful cloud sinking to hell would be? Look no further than Without God's debut album, "Lambs To The Slaughter" for the ultimate doom experience. There is no lack of musicianship on this record. Abundant grooves, righteous riffs, and rough vocals make for an album that is both heavy as doom is, but also tangible to listeners who may be turned off by other doom bands and look for more substance.
Hell, you can shake your ass to most of the songs on this album, if that's your thing. I, for one, will say that it is sometimes important that my doom albums fulfill a certain ass shakin' qualification, because just trudging your entire life away to the underworld can get a little stale. Without God shakes up hell with some faster, Sabbath-soaked jams. Satan himself would be pleased to join the party.
I have a feeling Without God's going to explode in 2011. If they don't, I would like to know where the fuck everyone's ears are...(if you don't like them, your ears are in your asshole, and I refuse to argue otherwise).
"Lambs To The Slaughter" is a doom album, but instead of a dark sludge trudge to hell, this albums sends you down to hell with a celebration that has beer aplenty...or whatever you choose to celebrate your demise with. The only thing that would rival the beer aplenty would be the heavy grooves aplenty.
I won't even begin to list the best tracks, because this whole album is phenomenal. It's incredible that this is their first full-length. This is a stellar album, and I cannot wait to see how they can ever top something this perfect. Turn this up, piss off your neighbors, play it with the windows to your abode open so you can let everyone bask in this glorious, glorious doom. Stop reading now and go get this album immediately.
